The Partners
Two partners, two decades of combined courtroom and boardroom experience, one shared approach: practical advice, honestly given.

Lim Chon Sin
Mr. Lim Chon Sin, the founding partner of the firm, has more than 20 years of experience in the field of criminal law. He graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Jurisprudence (Hons) degree in 2002 and thereafter successfully obtained the Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) in 2003. Started his own firm, Messrs. C.S. Lim & Associates, in 2009.
He has been practising for more than two decades as Defence Counsel, defending individuals charged with criminal offences, and is also a panel lawyer appointed by the Court to represent individuals charged with offences that carry the death sentence as punishment.
He has significant experience in criminal defence, having handled cases comprising murder, white-collar crimes, general offences under the Penal Code, and drug-related offences including drug trafficking — from the Magistrate Court, Sessions Court and High Court up to the Federal Court. He also handles civil suits arising from conveyancing and land disputes, running-down matters, defamation suits, and contested bankruptcy and/or winding-up litigation for his clients. Many of his civil and criminal cases are reported in CLJ and MLJ. He is also legal advisor to a number of established corporate companies, associations and schools.
